Wiliwilinui - December 13th, 2012

This day started with rain and continued and ended with the same thing RAIN! We were going to turn around or not even start, but the drive down was an hour, which sucks, so we decided to just go for it!

It was so windy up there! Like it was howling up there, noises that were made were totally creepy! It started ok, on a paved / gravel road, which was cool, then we got to the bench, where the actual frikin trail started! Stairs, stairs, and more stairs! Mud, mud, and more mud! It was sketchy in areas that wouldn't of felt sketchy in a situation that would be dry, it was so slippery! The ferns were very picky too, in suggest long pants, it wasn't the end of the world, but it kinda hurt! Gloves too especially in the mud, there are several ropes in place to aid w certain sections, and sections with ropes that were totally unnecessary.

Overall, we did enjoy the hike, if it were clear it would of been nicer of course! Take your time and enjoy the views!
